Role Value Proposition:
Performs tasks associated with the sales and administrative support of an agency with a mindset of “Field First”
The purpose of the position is that it supports the Auto and Home Field Sales staff. Our goal is to make things easier for onboarding, contracting, as well as and supporting field sales staff to reach their sales goals.
Key Responsibilities:
• Contracts/Appointments for sales distributions in an assigned territory
• Provides answers to customer inquiries by identifying problems, researching answers and guiding customer through corrective steps as needed.
• Provides technical support to users. May require troubleshooting, research and training to bring issue to resolution.
• Acts as a subject matter expert on projects impacting contracting and appointment functions and processes.
• Examines various transactions and documents for correctness to ensure compliance with company guidelines and for recording purposes.
• May select, classify, or compile information from several sources in order to prepare reports or studies.
• Maintains files and/or classify, index, and cross-reference records in a complex document system.
• Acts as liaison to Sales Managers and Agents
• Performs various support functions in accordance with standard procedures and under specific instructions.
• Performs other duties as required or assigned.
Essential Business Experience and Technical Skills:
• Ability to communicate with clarity, logic and confidence, both verbally and written.
• Ability to work with customers to assess needs and generate appropriate solutions.
• Ability to analyze situations fully and accurately to reach productive decisions.
• Strong computer skills and the ability to troubleshoot and diagnose problems.
• Self-motivated team player with proven ability to work independently.
• Ability to prioritize and manage numerous competing demands in a high-volume, fast-paced working environment.
• Working knowledge of all Microsoft Office products.
• 2-3 years of customer support/helpdesk experience
