Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, and maintain high complexity quantitative tools to evaluate the impact of state product changes and make actionable recommendations for improvements to tools and processes.
• Implement countrywide initiatives, provide subject matter expertise, and recommend solutions to state-level tools needs and requests.
• Present benefits of new tools and process improvements to product managers and DSOs.
• Perform high complexity analysis to evaluate the performance of and identify trends and issues in assigned states and product lines.
• Make recommendations for improvements. Provide consultation on complex business issues and rate modeling issues and strategies to state teams and DSO's.
• Implement country wide initiatives and conduct analyses to support strategic direction of assigned states and product line.
• Act as subject matter expert for assigned product lines and states.
• Query data to conduct ad hoc analysis of metrics. Build complex tools and queries to facilitate high complexity analysis.
• Research, identify, and propose changes to our product offerings based on well-reasoned recommendations.
Qualifications:
The position requires a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Business, Economics, or related field, plus five (5) years of experience in the job offered, as a Senior Analyst, Product Analysis, or in a related occupation. The position requires three (3) years of experience with each of the following: Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; Structured Query Language (SQL); SAS Macros; Proc SQL; SAS Enterprise Guide; Base SAS; SAS/Connect; SAS/Access, SAS/Stat, and SAS/Graph; Citrix; Unix or Linux scripting; and Systems administration in a Windows environment. The position also requires two (2) years of experience with each of the following: Agile methodology; and entire Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
