Summary
The North Central Florida Group is an established independent financial service practice with Thrivent Financial. They are looking to grow and expand their team with an Office Assistant. This role will start at 25 - 30 hours per week with the potential to move to full-time. Ideal candidate will be someone who will want to continue to grow within the organization. Work hours will be Monday – Thursday, hours 9:30 - 4:00 and Friday 9:30 - 1. Please note, this is not a temporary position.
This position requires exceptional interpersonal and organizational skills and will evolve over time. This role is critical to our member experience and requires a friendly, upbeat demeanor. Key responsibilities will be serving as the first point of contact for the office as well as any other administrative duties assigned. We are looking for a driven individual who wants to be part of achieving goals and grow in the business. The Office Assistant reports to and is employed by The North Central Florida Group. Medical benefits are not provided with this position.
Position Roles/Responsibilities/Accountabilities:
• Greets clients - first point of contact when clients arrive to office
• Performs routine administrative duties such as maintaining office supplies, processing mail, scanning and faxing documents
• Handles incoming telephone calls to the office and responds to requests for information.
• Manage calendars and schedule appointments
• Updates the contact management system with client/member contact and preference information
• Supports event coordination and RSVP management
• Completes other miscellaneous tasks as assigned
• You work well in a team environment and have demonstrated ability to build relationships
• Actively engage in meetings and events, and the opportunity to participate in seminars, workshops, client events and volunteer opportunities
• Work hours are Monday – Thursday 9:30am – 4pm and Friday 9:30am – 1pm
Position Qualifications
• Strong technical computer aptitude and knowledge of business tools or the ability to quickly learn
• Ability to handle multiple tasks, prioritizes, and maintains a high quality of work while experiencing frequent interruptions.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills – Strong telecommunication skills
• Ability to maintain integrity of sensitive/confidential information.
