Job Summary:
Newmark Knight Frank seeks a talented professional with an interest in the United States multifamily real estate market to join its research team to support our growing national multifamily capital markets group. The position will support all aspects of the department from data entry to market analysis, production of reports, and beyond. This position presents an excellent opportunity for growth and professional development within the company.
Essential Job Duties:
• Track and analyze local, regional and national investment sales and financing transactions
• Assist in writing and producing quarterly real estate market reports as well as other publications
• Maintain data in an internal database
• Conduct trend analysis of multifamily capital markets, locally and nationally
• Generate reports from subscriptions and vendor resources
• Other duties as assigned
Skills, Education and Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in real estate, business, economics, or a closely related field
• Understanding of real estate capital markets
• Minimum 2 + years research experience required
• Ability to identify trends and develop industry reports
• Excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills
• Experience with data entry and database management
• Superior skills in Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Experience with CoStar, Real Capital Analytics, Trepp, Reis, Axiometrics and ESRI a plus
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize workload in a fast-paced environment
