Senior IAM Security System Administrator
Job Summary
Responsible for maintaining the security and integrity of data in addition to providing day-to-day operational support associated with the support of IAM tools, software, and technologies. Perform assessments, audits, and reviews of IAM solutions to ensure appropriate security measures are in place and user access and IAM systems are designed so that they are appropriately aligned with Aflac policies and standards. Provide direct support to the business and IT staff. Supply expertise and assistance with projects Provides day-to-day operational support of IAM technologies to include authentication systems, authorization systems, privileged identity systems, certificate systems, and user and access administration systems.
Principal Duties & Responsibilities
Conduct audits as required by multiple Federal and State regulations, SOX, HIPAA, GLBA, PCI and applicable industry directives
Monitor adherence to Aflac policies, procedures, and Information Security specific processes
Conduct internal assessments and reviews and manage access changes resulting from same
Work with Compliance, Privacy, Audit, Legal, HR, and Special Investigations to determine and apply risks, remediation, and correction as needed
Perform legal holds and E-Discovery
Review security violation reports and handle and document approved exceptions
IAM Systems administration
Work with a wide variety of specialized security systems and software
Pull activity reports from monitoring systems, tools, and applications as requested by IT departments or the business units
Maintain and update security policies within and/or for AD, RACF, and AS400
Research, analyze, and recommend software to rectify security deficiencies
Handle the rollout of new software for the team to include training, procedures, and other change management activities.
Provide a security briefing for new employees and communicate with Aflac personnel about information security policies
Provide assistance to the business units in identifying and implementing appropriate information security measures
Collect research in terms of best practices, business processes, and procedures
Compile and disseminate metrics for the department
Participate on project teams and IAM expert to assist in the implementation of roles, users profiles, and policies that uphold appropriate SOD and meeting regulatory requirements
Work with members of IT management to provide effective mitigation of reported security concerns and complaints
Performs other duties as required
Qualifications
Education & Experience
Bachelor's Degree in Computer science, information systems, or a related field with six years of relevant technical work experience that has provided an understanding of security issues, software, and techniques across all existing computer platforms or an equivalent combination of education and experience
