This opening is for a Senior Manager role on the U.S. Consumer Cash Back portfolio within the Proprietary Lending team, responsible for product management, development, and execution of strategies for AXP’s largest card portfolio. You will be joining the team at a dynamic and exciting time as the competitive landscape is continuously evolving in terms of competitive launches, marketing strategies, and product investment. With the goal of increasing Card Member acquisition, spending and engagement, this role will drive a number of strategic priorities including product innovation, offer testing, and customer experience enhancements as well as provide a high level of visibility with internal partners (all channels, finance, risk, legal) as well as external partners and vendors.
Portfolio Management:
• Management of products benefits, offers and marketing
• Project manage strategic initiatives for the Cash Back portfolio
•Evaluate and optimize operations of portfolio
•Synthesize customer feedback to enhance CM experience
Customer Management:
• Work closely with Marketing teams on prospect and customer marketing strategy
• Ensure product voice, brand and marketing consistent across CM lifecycles
• Customer complaint management and resolution
Relationship Management:
• Partner across Blue Box and with agencies to drive projects and initiatives forward
• Liaise with Marketing, Finance, Technologies, cross functional partners, and external partners
Qualifications
Ideal candidate will be highly strategic with strong analytic skills, project management skills, outstanding communication skills and influence management abilities:
• Bachelor's Required
• 5-7 Years of experience
• General manager mindset with financial acumen
• Strategic, analytical thinker with strong problem solving skills and comfort with data analysis Strong Analytic skillset with the ability to work with data to general insights
• Strong connection to customer insights, and proven experience developing and rolling out complex cross-functional projects and business strategies
• Outstanding project management skills and strong bias to action
• Understanding of core lending levers and card economics
