Job Description
The Branch Administrative Supervisor (BAS) is primarily responsible for performing advanced administrative, industry and professional support functions for the Financial Advisor(s). In addition, the Branch Administrative Supervisor is responsible for supervising the work of the branch support staff, including onboarding, training, development and ongoing associate communication. The position also includes planning, directing and organizing the branch’s administrative work, developing and recommending branch procedures, and researching and completing special projects. This position will also perform the daily responsibilities of a Client Specialist.
As a Branch Administrative Supervisor, you will:
• Perform the daily responsibilities of a CS by providing strong interpersonal service to clients, prospects and associates.
• Responsible for the employment life cycle, including interviewing and onboarding or off boarding, of branch associates.
• Responsible for, in partnership with the Branch Manager and Financial Advisors, ongoing associate development through the performance management process. Facilitates setting associate goals and ongoing monthly performance coaching to establish proper career development. In addition, ensures alignment of goals with branch and FA business plans.
• Coordinate/arrange training for all branch support associates to ensure their work is linked to Financial Advisor (FA) and branch business needs.
• Ensure associates are aware of PWM branch initiatives and communicates administrative and operational topics to staff appropriately. Plans and leads monthly staff meetings.
• Supervise and evaluate the work of the branch support staff. Prioritizes work, assigns tasks and monitors progress.
• Schedule support staff work hours and time off to provide adequate coverage for the branch’s varied assignments and manage timecard approvals. May act as backup to staff, filling in where necessary.
• Resolve problems and interprets policies, procedures, and guidelines for staff.
• May be responsible for P&L oversight alongside branch manager.
• Performs other duties and special projects as assigned.
• Supervises up to 10 branch office support staff.

What we look for:
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Three to five years of industry experience as a licensed client specialist.
• Knowledge of advanced sales support functions and standard office practices.
• Previous supervisory experience strongly preferred.
• Exceptional client service skills.
• Strong organizational skills - ability to prioritize and delegate branch’s daily workflow to effectively organize tasks/people in order to achieve specific goals.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
• Must be series 7 and 63/65 or 66 licensed.
