The Litigation, Arbitration & Disputes Construction Delay Senior Associate is responsible for the preparation and review of project schedules and delay analyses related to construction matters for active projects, and forensically for projects in litigation. The Senior Associate also assists with investigations and oversight of construction matters, as well as compiles and analyzes documents to reach conclusions of value in support of consulting, testimony and arbitration services.
Qualifications
Education:
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management or other relevant field, required
Experience:
• Two (2) or more years of experience in architecture, engineering, construction management or consulting, required
• Experience with CPM scheduling, delay analysis or assisting with construction claims preparation and review, required
License/Certifications:
• EIT / PE, PMP or actively pursuing, preferred
Software:
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Access, Excel, PowerPoint, Project and Word, required
• Oracle Primavera Scheduling Software, required
• CAD and BIM software, preferred
Other Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong analytical and basic research skills related to the retrieval and organization of high volumes of information
• Solid organizational skills, especially ability to meet project deadlines with a focus on details
• Ability to successfully multi-task while working independently or within a group environment
• Ability to work in a deadline-driven environment, and handle multiple projects simultaneously
• Ability to interact effectively with people at all organizational levels of the Firm
• Ability to travel as needed
