Job Description
Man Investments USA Holdings Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Quantitative Trading Researcher to join our team in Boston, MA.
Responsibilities
• Develop and maintain proprietary Trade Cost Analytics Platform
• Rigorously ensure data is accurate and representative of all trading activity conducted by the firm
• Work closely with the trading team to research and develop trading algorithms, improve trading style and capture market dynamics
• Develop and analyze broker performance metrics, market impact costs trends of various strategies, and execution venue performance
• Research and improve Trade Cost Model to account for latest market structure or regulatory changes
• Work with brokers identifying areas for improvement in execution style
• Work with Portfolio Managers to understand the characteristics of various strategies and improve / adopt trading style accordingly
• Act as subject matter expert in all areas of transaction cost analysis. Work with Portfolio Managers, internal client service and marketing teams to ensure existing and prospective client inquiries are properly addressed and supported by execution data
Job Requirements
• Master's degree in Operations Research, Mathematics, Finance, or similar quantitative field, as well as two (2) experience in job offered or related
• Must have two (2) years of experience with: Python, SQL; statistical analysis, regression, and large dataset investigation; Bloomberg data fields and pricing data; modeling and buildout; and reporting tools and infrastructure requirements
• Must also have one (1) year of experience with: transaction cost data; financial market structure; algorithm development; and order placement logic
