Job Summary
• The Managed Detection and Response Account Manager, is a key member of the Crowe Managed Security Services team that develops and closes opportunities for Crowe’s Managed Detection and Response offerings in new and existing mid-market and enterprise accounts.
This role requires a deep understanding of the market and technology offerings that Crowe provides, including our industry verticals, cybersecurity services and technology solutions, our competitor’s offerings, and the ability to use this knowledge to account plan and successfully close opportunities. The successful Account Manager drives a superior customer experience by delivering Managed Security Services solutions tailored to customer needs and can meet and beat their assigned quota.
• Key Performance Requirements:
◦ Acquire New Business:Ability and desire to develop and close new MDR/MSS opportunities, across a national territory and client industries.
◦ Independence & Risk Governance: Ability to understand, adhere and succeed within an organization with independence and risk governance requirements.
◦ Opportunity Lifecycle Management:Fully participate in all areas of our sales lifecycle to include, nurturing, and prospecting, qualifying, purposing, and closing an opportunity.
◦ Account Plan Development:Working with Crowe’s Partners, Sr. Managers, and Cybersecurity Account Managers to develop and prepare strategic sales and account plans, and maintain and update accordingly throughout the opportunity lifecycle.
◦ Contract Negotiations:Crowe Managed Security Services, and Managed Detection and Response services are delivered via an annual or multi-year contract which the Account Manager will participate in the underlying client financial and services model and execution of the agreement.
◦ Post Sales Account Management:Maintain awareness and status of all vital contractual obligations within your managed services client base, facilitating customer meetings and communications regarding deliverables where necessary. Additionally, look to advance other Crowe solutions and services within your client base both independently or with other Crowe team members.

Qualifications
• 5-10 years of Enterprise Account Management experience.
• Preferred 2+ years’ experience selling MSP/MSS offerings.
• Ability to articulate the value proposition of a managed security service.
• Ability to complete sales meetings and presentations independently, with little to no supervision at the highest levels of an organization.
• Ability to travel on short notice and cover a national client footprint.
