The successful candidate will serve as a key member of the Customer Support Division and interact with other Integrated Processing Teams (IPT’s) in support of the development of the Defense Enterprise Accounting Management System (DEAMS). The candidate will provide a broad range of financial management expertise including budget formulation and execution and will assisting project teams. The candidate will also develop and support applicable methodologies, tools, approaches, and points of view related to the DEAMS solution. They should demonstrate solid technical and functional end-to-end Oracle E-Business Suite experience. Other responsibilities may include:
Responsibilities
• Provide analysis and problem resolution for fixes to reported problems
• Review and provide assurances that all general ledger requirements are met within the Oracle system
• Develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) and provide Oracle training, as required
• Analyze and ensure resolution of resolve open Serena Help Desk Tickets
• Interact and communicate effectively with finance and technology senior/middle management
• Participate in DEAMS process improvement workshops identifying gaps, and providing solutions to bridge gaps and enhance processes
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of two years Air Force financial management experience. As a substitution for the degree, candidate can have six years of Air Force financial management experience
• Experience in Air Force Funds Control, Accounting, Financial Analysis, Accounts Payable, Government Purchase Card, or Defense Finance and Accounting Service
• Knowledge of Air Force legacy systems such as the Integrated Accounts Payable System, the Standard Base Supply System, the Standard Materiel Accounting System, the General Accounting and Finance System, the Automated Business Service System, the Commander's Resource Integration System, and the Intra-governmental Payment and Collection
• Experience dealing with Status of Fund (SOF), Open Document Listing (ODL), Selective Transaction History (STH), Outstanding Travel Orders and Advances, and 7113 Report
• Must also be willing and able to travel as part of DEAMS Deployment as required
• Ability to obtain a U.S. secret level security clearance (requires US Citizenship)
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience working in DEAMS is preferred
• Working knowledge of Audit Command Language is preferred
• Working knowledge of Power BI is preferred
