Senior Manager, Portfolio Strategy Finance – Charlotte, NC
We are currently seeking a Senior Manager, Portfolio Strategy Finance in Charlotte. This is an exciting opportunity within our Corporate Solutions business supporting a financial services client in Charlotte, NC. You will partner internally and externally across the organization to develop complex corporate real estate strategies supported by operational, financial, and organizational analyses to assist our client in optimizing their real estate solutions.
Our Senior Manager will have direct responsibility for assisting in the development of enterprise and market level portfolio strategies that align with the client’s overall portfolio objectives. You will be responsible for leading a team of analysts who are dedicated to regions across the client’s global portfolio.
We are looking for an experienced client advisor and strategist, with strong skills in problem-solving and client management as evidenced by prior work and educational history
What this job involves:
• Partnering across the organization to identify portfolio strategies that generate meaningful expense savings and/or effectively support the client stated objectives
• Oversight of detailed financial modeling for transaction activity under consideration to support the overall business case development
• Ability to develop executive level presentation materials and present findings to that audience
• Ownership of key relationships across internal and external (client) organizations. You will have senior exposure to both organizations
• Proactively manage execution of client deliverables to ensure excellence and consistency
• Drive monthly forecasting and strategic planning of all cost associated activities across the client portfolio
• Complete and support regular and ad-hoc reporting, including informal and formal internal and client-ready documents, reports, graphs, charts and presentations
• Assist in efforts to leverage insights, collaboration, and delivery to ensure that we remain the industry leader in product innovation

• Bachelor’s degree in related field. MBA or other advanced degree is highly desirable
• At least five years of work experience in finance, accounting, or investment. Real estate experience is preferred
• Significant experience leading and managing initiatives across a team or organization
• Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills demonstrating confidence in building and effectively maintaining positive relationships with clients (internal and external) and co-workers
• Sharp analytical and conceptual skills with the ability to communicate results both orally and written
• Experience with real estate modeling and analyses in Excel including: net present value, internal rate of return, cash flow, and P&L
• Ability to integrate across finance and account service lines; connecting dots across key responsibilities and multiple service lines
• Strong execution skills with the ability to convert strategies to actions and results
• Basic understanding of real estate asset management
• Ability to influence partners and teammates
• Highly organized with effective time management skills
• High degree of independence, initiative, responsibility, and accountability
• Collaborative manner and work ethic
• Ability to provide discrete and confidential handling of sensitive information
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
