Responsibilities
The Marketing Coordinator provides general marketing and communications support to the assigned Market to further growth objectives, local brand awareness and strategic relationships in the local marketplace.
• Support leadership in developing and implementing local marketing strategies and messaging.
• Coordinate implementation of firm-wide marketing initiatives at local level.
• Act as Liaison between the market and Digital Marketing Services for marketing collateral, branding and logo requests, ensuring proper application of brand standards
• Write news releases and other relevant communications materials
• Establish, develop and oversee local strategic community relations initiatives, including sponsorship requests.
• Accurately track and manage advertising contracts and sponsorship commitments, including pre-event planning, deliverables, invoices, and budgeting
• Assist with local internal communication initiatives, including contribution to local intranet section.
• Assist with client pursuits in developing and preparing presentations, pitch-books and proposals.
• Maintain local databases in CRM for clients, prospects, referral sources, etc.
• Plan, coordinate and manage local events to support initiatives of the local office.
• Consistently demonstrate high quality in work and relationships.
• Involves work in the firm’s local office(s) and attendance at off-site meetings and events. Work off-site may require the use of personal car. Some overtime may be required as needed throughout the year.

Qualifications
• 2 plus years of experience in a Marketing related role required
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in marketing, communications, public relations or related field required
• Strong multi-tasking and time management skills required
• Ability to manage contact with multiple stake holders and multiple projects required
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and project management experience required
• Ability to work closely and effectively with all levels of management with a high degree of professionalism required
• Proficiency with Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) required
• Previous experience assisting with the writing of proposals and press releases preferred
• Proficiency with CRM systems and marketing databases preferred
• Knowledge of local media and business community preferred
