Description
This position is part of the US Business Finance team in the CFO organization, which provides financial and analytical support to Enabling Solutions and the Customer Office. This team works closely with senior management to provide financial analysis, expense forecasts, annual budgets & project budgets, G&A reporting, and valuation metrics. This position will provide the candidate exposure to the overall processes supporting expense management including expense reporting, forecasting, and budgeting, along with providing insightful analytics that influence decision making.
Job Responsibilities
• Heavy involvement in annual Plan process including development of each Departments’ multi-year plans and the provision of guidance to clients
• Quarterly forecasting and reporting of Departmental expenses and headcount
• Monthly financial reports to the Enabling Solutions and Customer Office’s senior leadership teams
• Provide insightful analytics of expense drivers and variance explanations
• Support of monthly accrual process, including review of all supporting documentation from clients and recording of entries in the Oracle General Ledger
• Involvement in expense management activities across all capabilities in both departments
• Calculation of annual chargebacks during planning process as well as the quarterly forecast of full year cost allocations
• Provide support for business case valuation metrics as needed
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting, with a minimum of 1 to 3 years of relevant work experience
• Financial reporting/planning and analysis experience required
• Strong analytical skills
• Strong PC skills (particularly Excel)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience with Oracle General Ledger, Essbase, Obero/Clarity, OBI
• Ability to think strategically and evaluate process effectiveness
• Proven ability to work within tight time constraints and multi task
• Ability to partner with various levels of management
• Overtime is required during peak periods
