Supports all payroll processes for a few countries which employ a total of less than 250 employees that utilize a third party payroll provider. Participates in records management, preparation of payroll accounting documents and development of reports for management.
Assists with the implementation of payroll policies and procedures that comply with all laws, policies and regulations within the countries or regions. Is developing familiarity with payroll taxation.
Analyzes payroll processes to suggest improvements. With direct supervision, contributes to special projects. Ensures that all statutory regulations and payments to third parties including regulatory and taxing bodies are in compliance with country and/or regional law.
Supports more senior professionals in the management of and negotiation with vendors, controllers, regulators, and country managers.
With guidance, assists with the implementation of benefits and compensation changes into the assigned country payroll systems or adjusts the assigned payroll process to accommodate the change. Confirms the implementation procedure with more senior professionals. Supports the development of accounting schedules and contributes to data gathering in support of system efficiencies analyses. Completes assigned audit tasks as needed. No direct reports.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required. 0-3 years of total work experience is preferred. Degree in Finance or Accounting is preferred. Experience with third party payroll providers like ADP or Paychex is preferred.
