Job Description Summary
Provides technical guidance and direction to the analysis of the business process to identify business requirements for system solutions or improved processes that will increase efficiency and overall productivity. This position directly supports and reports into Marketing Services.
Responsibilities
• Responsible for the business analysis process for Marketing systems applications.
• Understand and appreciate the importance of and promote systems life cycle methodologies, project management techniques, quality assurance and testing methodologies, and enterprise architecture principles.
• Work with and assist other Marketing/IT/Business managers to define, plan, develop, implement and support the Marketing systems in support of current and new business objectives/opportunities and strategic objectives for areas of responsibility.
• Review, on a consistent basis, existing processes/systems to make recommendations on process improvements and achieve consensus and support from the diverse groups within Marketing and the business to implement the defined processes.
• Develop metrics and measures and provide analysis that will assist management in improving key processes and deliverables.
• Provide assistance on vendor analysis, selection and review when necessary.
• Seek and develop strong partnerships with organizational management, divisional clients, IT staff, BA staff, and outside vendors and consultants.
• Has an understanding of the overall business of the division and company and participates in business decisions and anticipates issues.
• Achieves consensus from diverse groups to implement new processes.
• May provide direction and/or supervision and oversight of work of others in the department.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or business management, or equivalent education and experience. 10 years of experience in business systems analysis. Knowledge of business analysis, project management, business processes and process management is required.
Preferred Qualifications
• Strong leadership, decision making and analytical skills.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
• Must be a team player.
• Excellent knowledge of project management methodologies; able to manage large, complex projects.
• Direct experience managing and implementing Content Management Systems (CMS), Digital Asset Management (DAM), Workflow, and Sales Enablement vendors, systems and software.
• Prior history working for a Financial Services provider.
• Prior history supporting or working in Marketing.
