A career within Corporate Tax services, will provide you with the opportunity to help our clients meet their tax obligations while managing the impact tax has on their business. You’ll advise clients on their local and overseas tax affairs, while acting as a strategic consultant related to business analysis, managing working capital, and profit sharing for partners. You’ll also help organisations understand the pricing implications of goods and services between related parties, as well as providing advice on tax implications of deals. Our team helps our clients improve their tax function to control risk and facilitate better decision making. You’ll focus on helping businesses with tax strategy, ensuring tax compliance, increasing post tax profits, and providing application support to achieve the best corporate tax practices.
Responsibilities
As a Specialist, you’ll work as part of a team of problem solvers with extensive consulting and industry experience, helping our clients solve their complex business issues from strategy to execution. Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Proactively support multiple work streams or project teams to execute against an existing project or work plan
• Promote, manage and deliver the continuous improvement of activities and service delivery
• Display effective organization skills, managing multiple and competing priorities and coaching others to improve these skills
• Propose solutions to manage client expectations and managing the delivery of the solution
• Display attention to detail in executing and reviewing work products to ensure the highest quality deliverables in the allotted timeframe
• Integrate and synthesize information from multiple sources in order to analyze complex data and results, anticipate issues and solve problems
A Tax Paraprofessional provides administrative support to the needs of their assigned internal customers/market team and in a manner that demonstrates the highest levels of quality, accountability, and teamwork. Administrative support may involve any of the following responsibilities: client projects administration, financial reporting including billing and collection management, engagement economics analysis, obtain and organize client documentation, and performing ad-hoc projects as needed.

4 years of administrative experience may be considered in lieu of a Associate Degree

Required Knowledge and Skills:
Demonstrates some abilities and/or a proven record of success providing administrative support, including leveraging MS Office (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint) and Lotus Notes in accomplishing any of the following areas:
• Client projects administration and function coordination
• Financial reporting, including billing and collection management and/or engagement economics analysis
• Obtainment and organization client documentation, including engagement letters, master services agreements and statements of work
• File organization, research, computational work and create spreadsheets
• Administration of Quality & Risk Management and Independence tools, e.g. AFS, Acceptance & Continuance, tax processing and performing ad-hoc projects as needed.
