Capital Markets Director - Trading (IC)(F)

Job Profile
• Leads and manages trading strategy and execution for capital markets products.
• Works strategically with sales team, relationship managers and investment bankers to develop and execute complex trading/hedging strategies. Maintains relationships with buyers and sellers.
• Identifies relative value opportunities and makes markets. Monitors market conditions and manages risk.
• Partners with key stakeholders to develop comprehensive capital markets and selling strategies to maximize trading revenue and new business activity.
• Monitors trading activities, industry and market developments and regulatory requirements. Ensures compliance with policies and regulations. Works with key stakeholders to develop/modify relevant policies and guidelines. Provides coaching to team members.

Financial Engineering - Extensive Experience
• Knowledge of and ability to utilize the tools, techniques, and practices for creating a mix of financial instruments that will leverage a client's financial resources to an acceptable level of risk.
Investment Bank Quantitative Analysis - Working Experience
• Knowledge of and ability to use numerical methods to develop statistical models for devising trading strategies.
Trading - Extensive Experience
• Knowledge of and ability to engage in the transfer of financial assets in any financial market on behalf of an investor in order to capitalize on short-term trends.
Financial Analysis - Extensive Experience
• Knowledge of and ability to read, interpret and draw accurate conclusions from financial and numerical material.
KNOWLEDGE OF CUSTOMERS - Extensive Experience
• Knowledge of various types of customers and ability to analyze customer activities, profiles and information.
Required Education and Experience
Roles at this level typically require a university / college degree. Higher level education such as a Masters degree, PhD, or certifications is desirable. Industry relevant experience is typically 8+ years. Specific certifications are often required. In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education and experience (including military service) may be considered.
