Responsibilities:
U.S. Insurance Solutions (USIS) Distribution supports Principals distribution channels for our Specialty Benefits and Life Insurance businesses - Life, Non-qualified, Group Benefits, Individual Disability and the Principal Advisor Network. You will be a part of a team that provides technical solutions and support for financial professionals, firms and wholesalers while focusing on streamlining processes and increasing end user efficiency. In collaboration with team members and business partners you will discover, develop, test, deploy, maintain and improve solutions to business problems.
• Push boundaries of traditional IT roles by contributing to our engineering culture in a variety of ways including (but not limited to) defining / analyzing business problems, assisting in system design / configuration, and executing system testing
• Build upon core Salesforce platform and other integrated systems
• Be a key member of an Agile scrum team that is fast paced in delivering business value
• Provide honest and directed feedback to fellow development team members

Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree
• 2+ years of experience in an IT field
Additional preferred technical experience:
• Experience working in an Agile environment (e.g. user stories, iterative development, etc.)
• Experience with CRM tools (we use Salesforce)

• Ability to communicate technical ideas to a non-technical audience (written and verbal)
• Self-Driven, motivated independent learner, takes initiative
• Willingness to work on a cross-functional team and cross-train as needed
• Able to break down complex things into small chunks
• Strong problem solving and analytical thinking mindset
• A keen sense of translating the work we do back to the business value delivered
