Job Description
A Technical Agile Coach will be an experienced software developer with experience in multiple languages, software delivery disciplines and full systems Agile coaching. Ability to lead from a technical perspective including test driven development coupled with a flexible and open view on new technical possibilities. As an Agile Practitioner, the Coach works with KanBan and Scrum. Works effectively with Kanban and Scrum approaches, and coaches and mentors teams to improve their lean/agile approach. This includes concepts and activities such as improving flow, limiting work in progress, backlog definition and refinement and fast delivery of value.

Successful incumbents have excellent customer service skills, have strong inter-personal and communication skills, strong attention to detail, drive for results, decision quality, dealing with ambiguity, and ability to multi-task and have strong organizational skills.
Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with Technical Lead and Transformation coach to understand the roadmap and necessary outcomes.
• Develop and deliver coaching plan to get technical teams to their targeted outcomes.
• Effectively detect, communicate, and escalate organizational, technological, and other roadblocks
• Teach and mentor technical team members on Lean/Agile approaches for flowing work.
• Teach and mentor technical team members on XP engineering practices, including TDD, CI and pairing. Facilitate code reviews, provide leadership perspective on design and code quality.
• Coach others with the system of delivery to implement DevOps practices and technologies, including delivery pipeline design and development, cloud technologies and infrastructure as code and continuous delivery.
Qualifications
• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university or High School Diploma or GED and 8 years engineer experience
• 7 years technical experience as a Senior Developer or Architect including build and test automation experience
• 7 years in identifying technical solutions for complex business problems, identifying the benefits and risks of the solutions and providing recommendations
• 6 years design experience with 3 years advanced design experience
• 3 years full life cycle development in an enterprise development environment
• 3 years of experience as an Agile Practitioner
• 3 years of experience as an Agile Technical Coach
• 3 years working in a DevOps model with specific continuous deliver and integration skills
