Role/Responsibilities
This is an essential role which supports the Global Moody’s Analytics HR Business Partner team through the provision of timely and proactive administrative support. The HR Associate must partner effectively across all internal HR functions to ensure that data and employee records are accurately maintained and reviewed on a regular basis.
• Provide administrative support for talent management processes including but not limited to talent assessments and the promotion process
• Provide administrative support to the team including completion of expense reports, scheduling meetings and booking travel arrangements including complex multi-leg international travel
• Ensure up-to-date and accurate Human Resource files and records
• Pull monthly and adhoc reports based on HRBP request
• Serve as point of contact for HR Service Center and escalate queries to HRBP’s as necessary
• Work with managers to document flexible work arrangements and track participation data
• Conduct exit interviews
• Coordinate with recruitment to ensure new hire orientation materials have the most updated HRBP information
• Process employee terminations by notifying certain individuals and/or departments as directed.
• Process invoices for legal and outplacement services
• Assist in preparation of responses regarding unemployment claims.
• Develop relationships with other departments’ associates to allow for the leveraging of support when issues need to be resolved.
• Suggest and recommend process improvements
• Demonstrate a professional and courteous attitude to colleagues at all times. Act as an ambassador for the HR department with both internal clients and external clients and vendors.
• Work with team members to develop creative solutions to workflow issues.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred
• At least 2 years of experience supporting an HR department, ideally having supported a team of 3 or more individuals
• Advanced MS Office skills including PowerPoint, Word and Excel including the ability to create complex pivot tables, run vlookups and work with large data sets
• Experience handling confidential and sensitive information and understands the need for confidentiality at all times
• Demonstrate discretion and sound judgment
• Strong Customer Service and relationship building skills
• Highly organized and efficient and able to prioritize to meet tight deadlines
• Must be a self-starter with strong attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Flexible, diligent and dependable team player
