Role Value Proposition:
Broker Strategies – Distribution Development, Group Benefits. The department’s mission is to develop and manage strategic programs and tools supporting sales’ organic growth objectives across the Small, Regional and National Accounts markets. The group engages in projects that are of strategic importance to the business units, with high impact and visibility.
This role will provide strategic support, analysis and execution for the holistic oversight and management of broker strategy, designated programs & supporting business analytics for the Americas group broker market; including the Momentum Broker Program, 2x2 Broker Segmentation, 2020 Supplemental Compensation Program, Broker Advisory Council and Broker Portal.
Performs activities that support a variety of strategic business planning functions related to the Americas group broker market. Partners with management, including National Accounts, Regional and Small market businesses, to support and execute strategies, develop metrics, performance measures, and operational reports that support business objectives and results. Develops strong partnerships and participates in business planning, operational and expense management reporting, and benchmarking and performance measurement across broker programs & projects.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead management and execution of programs, including obtaining and analyzing data, and applying critical thinking skills to arrive at recommendations.
• Support the development of strategies and methods, and define total scope, towards value activation through behavioral broker segmentation.
• Lead development and implementation of key activities aimed at turning around underpenetrated relationships through strategic programs, including issue resolution and escalation.
• Lead strategic analysis of activities that span across functions in Distribution Development, including Global Broker, National Broker, External Compensation, Broker Strategies and Third Party Activation.
• Support internal and external market analysis of supplemental compensation programs as an input to design of the Broker Supplemental Compensation Program.
Essential Business Experience and Technical Skills:
Required:
• 10+ years of experience within a given function
• Strong interpersonal skills; able to operate effectively in a highly matrix environment.
• Undergraduate degree required

• Ability to set direction aligned to the company’s strategy, applying external and global perspective to meet local and global needs.
• Experience gaining commitments to achieve business objectives through clear communication of the company’s vision and flexing leadership styles to inspire high performance.
