The Consumer Learning and Development Project ManagerThe Consumer Learning and Development Project Manager is responsible for supporting the Consumer division by working with business leaders to improve employee performance through performance analysis and cause analysis resulting in the development of a training solution. This position provides training support and project management expertise to ensure a training solution is designed, developed, implemented, and evaluated to ensure the end state goal was met. This individual will specialize in various systems applications, business processes and procedures. This position will provide subject matter expertise related to Consumer Operations.
PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Assess training needs based on business needs and requirements, identify intended audiences, perform task analyses, define learning objectives, create training rollout schedule, and develop evaluation strategies. Serve as project lead for development of training materials for new products, performance gaps, process changes, and any change management needs. Design high-quality impactful training materials, such as manuals, exercises, videos, job aids, and eLearning modules.
2. Functions as Consumer line of business subject matter expert supporting delivery applications and teller system (i.e. TouchPoint); works with IT business analysts for problem-solving and future enhancement design and development. Functions as Consumer line of business subject matter expert supporting various regulatory acts and requirements (i.e. Patriot Act, Bank Secrecy Act, Currency Reporting Requirements, etc); works with Compliance staff to ensure delivery applications support compliance requirements; distributes and tracks completion of required compliance training courses.
3. Develop constructive and cooperative working relationships with product managers, consumer division sales leaders, consumer division operations leaders, and ExpressBank leaders.
4. Coordinate learning activities with field-based and call center trainers and conduct train-the-trainer activities.
5. Manages the Learning Management System to ensure training content is properly loaded, sequenced, monitored, and reported.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS and ABILITIES:
• Excellent time management and organizational skills to effectively handle projects in a fast-paced, high volume, and deadline intensive environment.
• Strong communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills with a focus on teamwork, including the ability to foster/manage relationships across multiple divisions/markets
• Excellent knowledge and understanding of adult learning principles using a variety of instructional methods and media
• Exceptional critical thinking and problem solving skills
• Advanced knowledge of Consumer Banking operational processes and technology
• Solid knowledge of Consumer Banking Compliance and Regulations
• Advanced knowledge and understanding of Learning Management Systems
• Advanced knowledge of retail bank operations, practices, and procedures
• Excellent knowledge of PC and Windows software, Excel, Word, etc.
• Understanding of process improvement tactics
• Experience working in a virtual environment with remote teams and customers
• Versatility, flexibility and a willingness to work within constant changing priorities with enthusiasm; a passion to proactively address client experience matters
This level of knowledge is normally acquired through completion of a Bachelor’s Degree and 5 – 7 years equivalent work experience in a financial institution with operations, learning & development and/or project management experience; or 10+ years of equivalent work related experience.
