Job Title Training Specialist
What does a great Training Specialist
do?
This Instructional Designer will be responsible for the design, development and delivery of dispute and chargeback training for our debit card services associates.
Essential Job Responsibilities:
• Instruct participants in both classroom lectures and distance learning programs
• Deliver and maintain a schedule of new product and refresher training courses
• Use professional concepts to apply company policies and procedures to determine best practices as it relates to training
• Conduct needs analysis to determine performance improvement solutions
• Work with Subject Matter Experts (SME) to ensure that course materials and training courses reflects current product features and organizational processes
• Contribute to the instructional design process to develop internal education programs
• Perform Level 1, 2, and 3 evaluations to determine applicability of course material
• Maintain strong interaction with SMEs to create and revise materials; with end users to review and revise materials and with other internal departments for exchange of ideas
• Develop and maintain blended curriculum and supporting documentation for both instructor-led and eLearning formats
• Consult with internal clients to understand training requirements and design appropriate solutions
• Lead development of document structures and prepare a variety of documents with minor guidance
Required Qualifications:
• 3+ years of experience delivering training
• 2+ years of experience using instructional design methodology
• 2+ years of experience writing procedures and/or documentation
• 3+ years of experience with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
• Advanced organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple assignments
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Advanced organizational and time management skills
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred Qualifications:
• Knowledge of EFT industry
• Experience in the financial industry or banking
• Experience developing or designing eLearning modules (Captivate, Articulate, Camtasia)
Travel:
Moderate travel may be required (up to 20%)
