Job Summary
The Content Curator analyzes, designs, and develops learning and performance improvement solutions to enhance competencies and effectiveness of all level learning audiences which address current and future business goals of the organization. This role will partner with other areas in designing and developing learning and performance improvement solutions. The Content Curator will be responsible for learners’ success in achieving learning objectives and will also be responsible for business results generated through learning and performance improvement solutions and tools (instructor-led (classroom and virtual), e-learning, job aids, coaching, learning management systems and other learning technologies).
Essential Job Functions
Design / Developing: Conducts needs analysis (for new and existing courses) then designs and develops training curriculum, certificate programs, materials and job aids for instructor –led, video, or other virtual platform. Makes recommendations on modifications to solution design. Uses adult learning practices and technologies for needed outcome. Consulting: Accountable for proactively consulting with school lead, line of business representatives, and subject matter experts to design and develop solutions that meets business objectives. Analyzes business results and learners success to identify areas of opportunities. Lead business unit meetings to consult on learning solutions to drive improved business outcomes. Partner with the business by participating in business activities such as team meetings, huddles, town halls to identify opportunities and improve results. Stay update on business changes. Collaboration: Assists master trainer, field trainers and internal trainers with measurement, facilitation and evaluation of all learning and performance solutions. Performs evaluation of complex learning solutions for all audiences. Develops recommendations based on findings. Design Innovation: Responsible for utilizing the most effective and up to date design techniques and platforms through research and involvement of L<(>&<)>D industry groups. Provides informed recommendations and selects technology tools to drive expected outcomes. Recommends best tool for delivery for application to support business objectives. Measured Results: Responsible for establish tracking to measure business results generated through learning and performance improvement solutions and tools (instructor-led (class and virtual), e-learning, job aids, coaching, learning management systems and other learning technologies).
Physical Actions
Sits or stands for extended periods of time, up to a full work shift. Occasionally reaches overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping. Occasionally moves, lifts, carries, and places objects and supplies weighing 0-10 pounds without assistance. Listens to, interprets, and differentiates auditory information (e.g. others speaking) at normal speaking levels with or without correction. Visually verifies and reads information. Visually locates material, resources and other objects. Ability to continuously operate a computer for extended periods of time, up to a full work shift. Physical dexterity sufficient to use hands, arms, and shoulders repetitively to operate keyboard and other office equipment up to a full work shift.
Physical Environment
This position operates in an open office working environment which will include normal and customary distractions, noise, and interruptions.
Education Requirements
Bachelors degree in instructional design, education, or similar field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience Requirements
Three years experience in instructional design or educational content development. Experience in designing scalable learning solutions (classroom, virtual and/or online). Experience with visual design, storyboarding, course-building and editing. Experience in Storyline, Captivate, HTML5, Adobe Creative Cloud, and/or Video Editing preferred.

Produce learning assets that generate an engaging learning experience that ensures participants have an exceptional experience and achieve intended learning outcomes.
Develop learning modules (i.e., video-based, web-based, virtual-instructor led, mobile, etc.) that allow our people to learn anytime, anywhere, on any device.
Design graphic images of frameworks and models, and present information in a well-organized, easy to understand and visually appealing manner using PowerPoint, Word, Adobe, (experience with Articulate 360, InDesign and/or new page layout programs a plus).
Review content from our expansive enterprise e-learning library as well as other sources, pulling and incorporating the very best learning objects into key Farmers programs to create relevant, easy-to-consume, scalable learning experiences.
Research and share insights on how leadership capabilities are evolving globally and what will be needed for organizations to win and keep market share in 2030—and help us develop learning programs that will build these capabilities across Farmers.
