Are you passionate about research and generating investment ideas? We’re looking for a professional to join our regional Supervisory Analyst team in the United States, to develop valuable insights and investment ideas for our clients.
OUR IMPACT
From macroeconomic forecasts to individual stock analysis, our team develops tools and insights to help shape investment strategies for clients and the firm. Our analysts work on client-focused research in the global equity, fixed-income, and Macro (economics, strategy, commodities) disciplines, mining big data that enters markets around the world each day to identify game-changing insights. You’ll be part of a team that is intellectually curious, creative, analytical, and passionate about performing market research.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS
HOW YOU WILL FULFILL YOUR POTENTIAL
Working as a key member of the team, the goal of the Supervisory Analyst is to:
• Manage the SA process, including from pre-submission work with analyst teams, to the point of client distribution
• Ensure that research adheres to both regulatory and firm requirements, and meets the highest standard of quality
• Opportunities to work on ad hoc projects, interacting with departments such as Legal, Compliance, Technology, and Research management
• Engage with lead research analysts and their teams to improve the quality of published research and time to market
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE WE’RE LOOKING FOR
QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelors degree required
• Preferably 5+ years of previous experience as a Supervisory Analyst
• NYSE Series 16 qualification
• Looking for someone with a flexible work schedule, which may include Sunday/weekends.
• Knowledge of finance, accounting and valuation
• Prior experience and proficiency working in a Windows-based PC environment; knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and outlook is necessary
• High motivation
• A self-starter with an entrepreneurial spirit and a genuine interest in business and the financial markets
• Flexibility in our business and what it requires of us are constantly evolving; we seek individuals keen to adapt and thrive in an environment of change
• Ability to see the big picture to look at the structure, arguments and balance of a report and suggest practical ideas for enhancing its commercial effectiveness
• Proven time management and organizational skills; ability to prioritize and juggle several projects at the same time and to work under tight deadline pressure
• Ability to multi-task and work with teams as well as independently
