Position Description
SEI (NASDAQ:SEIC) is a leading global provider of investment processing, investment management, and investment operations solutions that help corporations, financial institutions, financial advisors, and ultra-high-net-worth families create and manage wealth.
This role requires a self-motivated, goal-oriented individual to manage multiple tasks in a time sensitive delivery schedule. Responsibilities include the pricing and quality review of the various asset types for Mutual Fund, SMA, Private Equity and Hedge fund clients. Address all client concerns on a daily basis with emphasis on providing first-class service and quality. General understanding of Securities pricing and reference data
The responsibilities for this position may include some or all of the following:
Ensuring all established processing procedures and controls are completed accurately and timely on a daily basis, including daily pricing procedures.
Work with external clients and internal management to coordinate and facilitate an efficient, standardized T+0 operating model.
Researching and resolving client issues and questions.
Adhering to the client specific SLAs, as outlined. Working with vendors and managing the governance and other key deliverables related to the pricing process. Daily generation of securities valuations for multiple market closes.
Participating in team projects
Position Requirements
Position Requirements:
BS/BA degree in business, finance or related field, or the equivalent in education and work experience
Minimum of 2 years industry experience
Experience with SunGard Invest One and Advent Geneva accounting systems
Experience with Bloomberg, JP PDI, Reuters, ICE, and Market valuation services a bonus.
Strong user of widely used technical tools such as Excel and MS Access and/or programming languages a plus.
Self-motivated and problem solving skills in a dynamic environment. Ability to perform well under pressure.
Excellent Interpersonal and communications skills. High attention to detail
Must be willing to work effectively independently, as well as in a team, in an open floor environment
Regular and reliable attendance in accordance with position, business and/or client needs.
Physical Demands and Work Environment
While performing the duties of this job, the work environment may require an individual to move around the office and from building to building which may expose the individual to weather conditions outside. The individual has to be able to sit or be stationary at a computer and use computers for extended periods of time and occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds. The noise level in the environment is moderate and the individual must be able to communicate and exchange information with people in person and over the telephone and email.
