About the Role
Responsible for the oversight, profitability, growth and expansion of the Bank’s commercial Treasury Management / E-Banking department. Develops and maintains an independent customer portfolio and partners with lenders to attract deposits and sell treasury management products and services.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Manages and supervises the Treasury function; including treasury management sales officers, treasury management specialists, and other personnel within the Treasury function.
• Develops independent channels to prospect for new deposits and new treasury management clients. Uses consultative and strategic sales skills to turn prospects into clients.
• Calls independently or with account officers on customers and prospects with a focus on those with treasury management needs.
• Oversees of Treasury product development, sales, implementation and operations.
• Participates in CPB Loan Committee to help determine deposit gathering opportunities associated with loan customers.
• Implements and executes company wide corporate deposit gathering strategy and directly responsible for increasing the division’s core deposit franchise.
• Prepares and delivers periodic financial reporting associated with the Treasury portfolio of customers.
• Analyzes market trends (rates, fees, services, etc) and presenting the findings to division executive management and the division Board of Directors.
• Participates in or actively leads special projects pertaining to company wide training and education.
• Solves cash management solutions for large complex commercial deposit customers.
• Performs job functions in compliance with all company policies and procedures and all applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to, the Bank Secrecy Act, the Patriot Act, and the Office of Foreign Assets Control.
• Supports High Performance Checking customer acquisition strategy.
• Plays active role in strategic discussions with division executive management.

About You
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Minimum of ten years of senior treasury management experience in the community banking industry required.
• Bachelors degree and a Certified Treasury Professional (“CTP”) Designation required.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILL, ABILITY:
• The ability to motivate or influence senior level personnel, internally or externally, is a key component of the job, requiring a significant level of expertise, credibility, influence and trust. Proficiency in developing and delivering material presentations on complex topics can be important to fulfilling the responsibilities of the position.
• Extensive knowledge of all facets of treasury management products and services.
• Ability to develop effective marketing and business development plans.
• Familiarity with complex legal documents.
WORKING CONDITIONS:Must be able to routinely perform work indoors in climate-controlled shared work area with moderate noise level.

Must be able to operate routine office equipment including computer terminals and keyboards, telephones, copiers, facsimiles, and calculators. Must be able to routinely perform work on computer for an average of 6-8 hours per day, when necessary. Must be able to work extended hours or travel off site whenever required or requested by management. Must be capable of regular, reliable and timely attendance. Must be capable of climbing / descending stairs in an emergency situation.
Specific lifting abilities required by this job include: Medium work. Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include: The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading; visual inspection involving small defects, small parts, and/or operation/inspection of machines and/or using measurement devices at distances close to the eyes.
