Point72 is seeking an exceptional campus recruiter to join our Investment Services recruiting team, which identifies, engages and hires outstanding internship and entry level campus candidates. The Internship is a highly-selective and rigorous ten-week program over the summer that exposes current college students to facets of the hedge fund world in which our Firm not only practices but creates best practice techniques. This person will sit within the Investment Recruiting team and be responsible for hiring summer interns (typically rising juniors). The Campus Recruiter will also be directly involved in designing & conducting various early outreach programs aimed at building interest and awareness among freshman and sophomores. The Recruiter can be based in either CT or NY and spend the majority of the summer internship program in CT. Seasonal travel will be required for this role.
What you’ll do
• Develop, build out, implement and oversee a robust, best in class full cycle Campus Recruiting effort for top-tier intern talent, from early outreach at the beginning of the school year to onboarding interns
• Review metrics to identify a core set of target schools for Investment Services.
• Create an ongoing pipeline of premier talent
• Ensure interns have a best in class campus and intern experience and return full time after graduation.
• Maintain focus on Diversity by engaging with diverse clubs on campus
• Connect and build relationships with outstanding students, faculty, administrators, and others outside the Firm while representing the Firm’s brand effectively, persuasively, and professionally
• Establish Point72 as an employer of choice amongst young professionals; create an ongoing Campus Ambassador program
What’s required
• Possess high attention to detail to manage complex calendars, maintain spreadsheets to track large volumes of candidate information, produce executive level reports on program progress, and ensure proper paperwork and documentation is completed.
• Effectively communicate to maintain relationships with hiring managers, prospective candidates, key contacts at target schools including: career services, development offices and student organizations.
• Energetically assist in identifying, pre-screening, and assessing candidate applications, executing sourcing strategies, and coordinating candidate communication.
• Other qualifications include:
• 2-5 years of campus recruiting experience within a fast-paced environment
• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) with a minimum GPA of 3.0
• Experience managing complex calendars and schedules
• Solid understanding and use of Excel
• Strong attention to detail and possesses a high degree of urgency
• Strong writing and communication abilities
