Opportunity Overview
Edward Jones has an exciting opportunity in the Operations Division for a Technical Specialist on the Case Coordination team in Insurance Services. Responsibilities to include:
• Gather/analyze information and provide recommendations to address and resolve branch team inquiries/issues regarding client's life insurance, long term care and disability applications
• Monitor case load to ensure cases are processed in a timely manner according to established Service Level Agreements
• Communicates with branch teams and product partners on escalated issues via Service Request or phone, providing prompt and consistent follow-up
• Regular reporting of trends regarding product partners ability to meet established cycle time per the Service Level Agreement.
The position requires extensive breadth and depth of systems, processes, and procedural guidelines across multiple departments and cross-functional areas.
Position Requirements
• 3+ years of experience in a financial services environment (i.e. brokerage, banking, insurance, etc.) or specific technical system experience required
• An advanced knowledge of procedures and systems associated with multiple functions in a department or group of departments
• 1 or 2 years of Insurance operations or previous Insurance service experience is preferred
• Motivated self- starter and detailed oriented; able to meet deadlines while working independently
• An advanced level of proficiency and strong understanding of vendor systems
• Must be able to analyze, research and make decisions on non-routine issues independently with little or no guidance on a regular basis
• A Bachelor's degree is preferred
• State Insurance License required within 3 months of start date, Series 7 & 66 required within 12 months
