Description
We are looking for a Digital Copywriter to help us create best-in-class experiences for our customers. As a writer, your heart sings when you see copy that is smart, personal, and human. You are curious about the world around you, finding inspiration from your own experiences, as well as research.
Making the complex simple gets you excited. You like to dig into problems. You know how to use words to move people to take action. Understanding what motivates people helps you find unique and effective solutions. You can write a witty headline, add personality to product descriptions, and identify the right words to help walk someone through a process.
This role reports directly to the Head of Content in Dedham, MA, and requires 5+ years experience in an in-house or external agency or in the software/digital/design world, crafting empathetic customer-centric experiences in mobile and online apps, websites, emails, and other digital communications.
Responsibilities:
• Work closely with Green Pixel Studios, our in-house UX team to create best-in-class experiences.
• Craft copy for our mobile banking app, online banking, and website experiences.
• Help develop and set the tone for digital experiences that are clear, simple, and personal.
• Use data-driven insights and the power of microcopy to move people through to purchase, while catching attention through captivating headlines and empathetic copy.
• Maintain comprehensive knowledge about Citizens Bank consumer products in order to write effective and accurate copy.
• Contribute to user-testing assets, interpret results, and implement into final deliverables.
• Proactively manage multiple work streams and deliver high-quality work that meets deadlines.
• Advocate for clear, user-orientated messaging, grounded in design thinking, user problems, and data.
• Stay up-to-date on best practice
Qualifications
Qualifications:
• Compelling creative portfolio
• Bachelor's Degree in English, Communications, Writing, Marketing, or Journalism, a combination of education and work experience, or equivalent professional experience
• Experience managing stakeholders
• Thrives in a fast-paced environment
• Adaptive thinker, self-starter who enjoys making the complex simple.
• Comfortable working in Agile
• Thoughtful team player who adds value through smart insights and empathy for the customer, but is also comfortable working on their own
• 5+ years relevant experience
• Knowledge of best practices for various digital formats
• Familiar with Jira or other similar project management tools/systems

Hours per Week: 40
