Business Partner Program Manager, Vice President
Job Summary
The Business Partner program manager is a strong generalist that performs cross-functional responsibilities across the technology, business, and program levels of the transformation program office. This role contributes to the overall strategy and execution of MUFG’s transformation journey.
Responsibilities
• Stakeholder transparency
• Assist with synthesizing the current state of the program to keep stakeholders informed, updating master artifacts as necessary
• Facilitate information collection and distribution across the program
• Objective and key results analysis
• Analyze connectivity between transformation and business objectives
• Assist with the evaluation of progress using key results, creating new processes as necessary
• Identify customer journey based prioritization opportunities through analysis of the BAU and transformation portfolios
• Change Management issues, dependencies, and risk analysis
• Help to ensure connectivity across multiple levels of the program by analyzing the work stream change management plans, updating master artifacts as necessary
• Activities may include organizational development and design, organizational and stakeholder assessments, data analysis development and implementation of people focused transition strategies and strategic communication plans, facilitation of training.
• Collaborate across work programs to ensure information sharing and integration of change related activities.
• Participate in developing work plans with other parts of the Transformation program as appropriate.
• Support project teams in integrating change management activities into their project plans.
• Evaluate risks, issues, dependencies and their prioritization, escalating perceived issues (new items or inappropriately prioritized ones) to TPO leads
Qualifications
• 5-7 years in technology development
• Experience creating successful strategic implementation plans
• An instinctual eye for the critical path, and the risks it faces
• Able to comfortably manage more simultaneous threads than most
• Strong attention to detail
• Comfort with ambiguity; the ability to find the correct path given limited guidance
• Ability to create insightful visualizations to convey complicated data and concepts succinctly
• Strong communication & presentation skills
