Job Description
The position will report to the Senior Business Leader of Strategic Initiatives and work closely with internal stakeholders throughout the world to manage important programs promoting the integrity of the Visa transaction, and, as a secondary responsibility, support the creation of strategies to expand acceptance in target countries. The position will be primarily responsible for managing Visa’s Dynamic Currency Conversion (DCC) Program, which has been identified as a priority by the Visa executives.
Responsibilities include:
• Create and execute strategies to increase compliant dynamic currency conversion (DCC) at the point of sale and ATMs
• Lead the planning and execution of regular audits of merchants and acquirers, and manage a substantial budget.
• Manage vendor relationships.
• Track use of DCC and create management reporting
• Support internal teams responsible for the certification of DCC solutions before and ensure correct processes are in place
• Support client-facing teams with appropriate written materials and providing specialist support as required
• Make changes to the DCC program where appropriate, including rules and pricing
• Lead the coordination and communication of best practices and applicable policy initiatives across key countries to further expand acceptance
• Additionally, provide support to the team for specific projects that expand acceptance
Qualifications
• 10+ years business experience in payments, preferably in a global capacity and in relation to merchant acceptance
• Demonstrated track record of planning, managing and concluding complicated projects
• Program management experience
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to establish effective relationships across all organizational levels including executive management. Ability to establish, manage & grow relationships and influence decisions across countries and functions
• Experience negotiating business agreements and ability to solve problems and enhance existing partnerships
• Ability to think creatively and strategically in identifying new approaches to acceptance development and implementing programs for expanding acceptance
• Ability to undertake a small amount of travel
• Bachelor degree required, master degree preferred
