Loan Administration Specialist I
Opportunity Overview
As a Loan Administration Specialist I you will be part of the Mortgage Loan Administration team at Banner. You will perform various administrative and support functions within the department.
As a Loan Administration Specialist I with Banner Bank you will have the opportunity to:
• Audit, post and reconcile funds received from investors on loans purchased by Banner Bank
• Prepare management reports used to monitor and analyze wholesale loans purchased by Banner Bank and serviced by other banks or mortgage companies
• Prepare necessary documentation to release security for paid off loans
• Monitor and audit new loan information to ensure accuracy and guarantee that all required information has been entered
• Answer customer inquiries regarding annual account statements and escrow account analysis
• Input tax, insurance and various other loan administration and codes on the loan system
QUALIFICATIONS
Education & Certifications
• High School diploma or equivalent required
Experience
• 1 or more years of loan administration/mortgage servicing experience preferred
Preferred Skills
• Knowledge of basic accounting principals
• Requires basic office skills, such typing and filing, ability to operate a variety of automated and standard office equipment
• Well-developed oral and written communication skills
• Knowledge of the core operating system
• Knowledge of federal and state laws and regulations relating to real estate lending
