The Cadence Loan Servicing Officer is responsible for managing some or all of the following daily operational activities including inputting, reviewing and processing advance requests, payments, and auditing inputs to ensure accuracy and consistency with Bank policies and procedures.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Manages the daily workflow of a team that directly contributes to the following duties within the Loan Servicing Center.
Expert knowledge of factoring and ABL processing: borrowing bases, inputting and processing advance requests, and applying payments while maintaining accuracy at all times.
Responsible for the daily delivery of the highest level of customer service to both internal and external clients.
Review and balance general ledgers and transactions on daily and monthly basis and provide certifications to accounting.
Accurately identify and correct any out of balance situations.
Trouble shoot customer services issues, including complex research transactions.
Audit all inputs relating to loans to ensure accuracy.
Understand and follow Bank and all other Regulatory policies, procedures, and regulations.
Makes recommendations to improve processes and procedures and create efficiency while maintaining safety and soundness at all times.
Think independently; make sound business decisions based on analysis and review.
Responsible for maintaining various department reports.
Additional support and duties as assigned.
Supervisory/Management Responsibilities:
Responsible for training and cross-training personnel.
Coach, mentor and motivate employees for optimal performance and career development.
Qualifications
Education/Experience Requirements:
Computer skills: (Microsoft Office)
Minimum of BS/BA (4 year degree) preferred in Business, Finance, Accounting or comparable degree. Related bank experience may be substituted; 5 to 10 year minimum.
Expert knowledge and understanding of accounting principles and commercial lending, preferably accounts receivable financing. Strong verbal/written communication skills and attention to detail.
Commercial Lending/Asset Based Lending, Factoring, Accounting/Finance experience preferred
