HOURS: (Shifts will vary and are subject to schedule needs/40+ hours per week)
Monday - Friday: 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
Prosperity Bank is currently seeking to fill the position of a Full Time Trust Officer for the Houston area.
The Trust Officer is responsible for the administration of trust and investment agency accounts. They will identify and develop new business opportunities, and communicate with grantors and beneficiaries on a regular basis in order to develop and maintain positive relationships. The Trust Officer will also review account balance sheets and consult with trust investment officer regularly to monitor account holdings. They will also review daily activity in accounts to insure accuracy and monitor cash balances in order to provide for liquidity needs. The Trust Officer will also attend Trust Committee meetings, prospect and develop new business opportunities and build and maintain professional relationships with officer, legal, and accounting. Required Experience:
Education/Certification:Bachelors Degree (B.B.A.) in Accounting or Finance or Law Degree or equivalent on the job training and experience in a relevant field.
Required Knowledge:Knowledge of Windows XP and other Office programs including Microsoft Excel and Word. Superior written and verbal communication skills. Strong logic, reasoning, and analytical skills.
Experience Required:Minimum of three to five years trust or related experience.
