Description
I. Position Summary
The Digital Product Manager is part of the Digital Banking Team responsible for the development and implementation of effective strategies and tactics to enhance the value proposition of the Retail and Small Business Online Banking, Mobile banking & ATM Channel. This position is responsible for assessing the competitive landscape, keep a pulse on industry trends and market demand with a focus on the Card digital industry, competition, and consumer trends. Stay abreast of competitive developments in the Digital Money Movement space and use this information when working with other members of the product development team to weigh in on product roadmap decisions.
Document, track and manage all aspects of the product roadmap with input from other team members. Identify and assessing opportunities for the product roadmap, based on customer feedback and marketing data.
II. Primary Duties & Responsibilities
• Develop subject matter expertise in all aspects of the functionality of assigned digital platforms, drive customer adoption and utilization of the platform and develop a market perspective to inform competitive analysis. 20%
• Lead the strategic development of the digital cards area with a focus on developing new products / features, to present and defend proposals to senior management on innovation committees. 10%Identify, mitigate and monitor consumer needs. Review / improve digital channels (mobile banking and online banking), customer experience, and customer complaints to ensure any issues are discovered and resolved. 10%
• Investigate customer behavior relative to digital platforms through online and offline customer surveys and research. Manage the analysis of data from customer feedback and synthesize into actionable insights that drive measurable differences in customer engagement. 30%Scope and lead projects with card partners that move from discovery research to synthesis, ideation, design, and testing of new card product concepts 5%
• Bring a strong track record of collaboration within the credit and debit card industry, with business, legal, compliance, risk, fraud and technology areas 5%
• Strategically balance the overarching customer experience with product roadmaps, business rationale, partner priorities, etc. Provide direction and contribute to the development, testing, and refinement of digital innovations.
• Be an experienced facilitator with the ability to balance conversation within cross-functional groups and drive toward consensus. Manage multiple stakeholder needs, interests, priorities, and expectations effectively.20%
III. Qualifications
• Education: Undergraduate degree in finance, economics, business or engineering.
• Business Experience: At least 5 years of experience in a role involving similar skills, preferably in a regulated environment (not essential). Professional experience with digital business environments and consumer technology products strongly preferred.
Technical Qualifications & Skills:
• Solid analytical, critical and creative problem solving skills with an understanding of how to utilize electronic delivery channels to meet business goals. Must be able to manage multiple products and projects with the capacity to work with and influence cross-functional areas, including other lines of business, technology and operations with conflicting priorities. Proven experience in managing projects from scope/ideation through implementation, working across multiple constituents to deliver on time and with quality.

• Highly skilled in analyses of complex data. Able to structure analysis and specify data required to support the analysis. Experienced in managing the extract, transform and load (ETL) activities to prepare data. Strong financial and business analysis skills.
• Power user of MS Office tools especially Excel, Access and Powerpoint. Strong negotiation and presentation skills.
• Solid product development and innovation experience including marketing campaign management and product positioning
