Prudential has a great career opportunity for a seasoned leader with a strong focus on learning and development for its Internal Audit Department. This position reports to the Vice President, Audit Strategy Office.
In partnership with the VP, Strategy Office you will lead a team, design, and deploy audit professional development and learning programs to support and enable the audit department globally. This requires cultivating partnerships across the Audit department and the HR community to ensure we are continually growing and developing audit professionals for current and emerging business objectives.
In this role you will lead a team of experienced audit training professionals to:
• Design, develop, source, implement, and maintain high-quality audit training and development programs for a broad and technically skilled community of professionals, this includes assist the Methodology Team in developing audit methodology courses.
• Build relationships within and outside of the Audit community to promote a collaborative approach and leverage other Prudential resources where available.
• Drive talent projects including the current Local Audit Integration project
• Oversee vendor management and governance for sourcing of high quality vendors
• Define metrics and measures of success to consistently evaluate the adequacy of existing training programs and build upon the audit professional practices curriculum
• Oversee the audit resourcing management framework (e.g. ensuring audits are assigned with the right skill sets, caring for conflicts of interest, borrows, loans, co-sourcing and development opportunities) and partner with the Internal Audit Senior Leadership Team and HR to identify strategies to close current and/or emerging skill gaps
• Design and implement the Audit Professional common assessment and development framework
• Oversee the audit employee experience for rotational, early and mid-career recruitments (e.g. undergraduate, graduate rotational programs and Audit Guest Rotation program)
• Oversee the development and execution of the Audit Global Mobility Program
• Facilitate monthly talent steering committee meetings with Audit executives and leadership
• Partner with HR to ensure a comprehensive talent strategy inclusive of Audit Professional Practices as well as align with Enterprise initiatives (e.g. Accelerated development for top talent, recruitment, managerial capability, etc.)

Qualifications
• 10+ years’ experience with a combination of people leadership and talent management
• Knowledge of Audit organizations a significant plus
• Proven record of effectively operating at both a strategic and tactical level
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple, often competing, and diverse priorities and programs
• Successful track record of problem solving and exercising sound judgment
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Ability to build business relationships, influence and effectively interact with all levels of the organization
• Experiencing leading and developing an experienced staff
• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree is a plus
