What you will learn and how you’ll help us grow
The Consumer Banking Communications intern will be responsible for supporting functional communications production and coordination, including communication of information to consumer banking employees. You will work with a variety of teams across the organization, including Operations, Marketing, Digital, Human Capital Management (HCM), Learning & Development, Sales Effectiveness and the Contact Center.
• Responsible for providing quality, timely communication of information with appropriate level of detail for customer-facing staff.
• Solicits, edits and generates content for various consumer banking functional communications to customer-facing employees, including regular publications.
• Assists in evaluating complex information and determining the appropriate method and distribution of communication based on topic and nature of information.
• Develops and maintains various mediums of communication, including posting updates to the intranet website and other channels as warranted.
Additional project assignments may include: process improvement initiatives; policy and procedure changes; product or systems development communications; legal, compliance or security initiatives; and service quality project.

How you know you’re the right person for the job
• You are interested in a 13-week paid internship (mid-May to mid-August) that will require you to put your knowledge to work, learn from others, and deliver results on real-world projects.
• You can demonstrate an ability to solve problems and communicate well verbally and in writing
• You have the integrity and discretion to work with confidential information
• Degree: Public relations, Marketing, Advertising, Business Communications, Strategic Communications or English majors
