What does a great Senior Product Manager – Fraud do?
Fraud and risk services are critical to ePayments strategy. Over the years, we have developed inherent abilities that are useful whenever we move money. One of these areas is risk and fraud. As payments continue to evolve into real-time, the protections afforded by having expertise in the areas of fraud and risk are meaningful to our clients, their consumers and Fiserv. This ability will be essential to ePayment’s success moving forward. As the Senior Product Manager for Risk and Fraud, you will be able to figure out the appropriate fraud and risk services that will advance Fiserv’s real-time network. Additionally, as we look towards the future of a full enterprise payment function, the fraud and risk services that we offer will be crucial to its success.

Essential Job Responsibilities:
• You will be actively engaged with Risk Management as the voice of the Product organization to craft the strategy, execution, and delivery of risk management services in support of Electronic Payments solutions for our clients.
• In collaboration with other Product Managers and the Risk Management team, you will ensure that risk requirements and implications are clear and reflected in plans for all Electronic Payments product solutions.
• Your partnership with the risk operations team to create business cases for new risk features within payment products will be critical.
• You're forward thinking and familiar with Risk industry technology and can actively suggest Risk System improvements to drive product growth, adoption and optimal performance to stay competitive within the Risk Management industry, and to differentiate Fiserv Products from our competitors.
• Responsible for product planning and execution throughout the product lifecycle including gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements, defining prospective product releases, and working closely with development, marketing and sales to ensure revenue and customer satisfaction goals are met.
• You deliver Market and Product requirement documents as part of an overall business case to rationalize product development. You will ensure that the business cases are comprehensive and timely for entrance into the corporate development process.
• Gathers Voice of the Customer (VOC) through a variety of methods including on-site visits, focus group, research studies and interviews and then translates that feedback into a prioritized set of requirements for development.
• You are aware of project execution risks and work directly with development, marketing and sales to provide Product guidance and leadership through all phases of development, marketing activities and sales training.
• Find opportunities within the product requirements for build, buy or partnership decisions.
• Provide input to pricing and revenue models from product initiatives.

Basic qualifications for consideration:
• Education: BS in a technical or business field or equivalent experience
• Minimum # years’ experience required: 6+ years
• Type of work experience required:
• Ability to distill high-level business requirements into detailed features for complex payment systems
• Product Management or Product Development experience leading a portfolio of risk/fraud solutions.
• Professional experience in Fraud Prevention or Fraud Detection in payments
• Consistent track record building business cases and gaining consensus.
• Knowledge of technology, trends, challenges, competitive environment, etc. in the payments risk industry
• Experience working with Agile processes
Preferred qualifications for consideration:
• Experience with Card and ACH payments preferred.
• Familiarity with Pragmatic Marketing Product Management principles a plus
• Experience with data analytics or financial/payments risk management would be a plus.
• Real-time payments experience helpful
