Description: Enter into the system new referrals received for Independent Medical Exams (IME). This position performs a wide range of data processing tasks, including data preparation, data entry, data tracking, documentation and filing. All duties are handled with a high degree of quality customer service and in compliance with all regulatory and company standards. Assist in the development and maintenance of a medical provider network. Will also be required to check in patients in the clinic and chaperone in with clinic physician, as needed. Must be bi-lingual (Spanish).
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES TO PERFORM THIS JOB SUCCESSFULLY INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:
• Receives and enters referrals from clients through office operating system or software application.
• Utilizes appropriate systems and databases to enter client or examinee information and or retrieve information as needed
• Communicates with clients regarding appointment scheduling, physician W-9 and CV's, appointment changes, no shows, cancellations, and receipt of medical records and/or images, as needed to assist IME Coordinator or department.
• Pulls required medical records prior to examination and sends to sorting
• Handles and responds promptly to incoming calls, e-mails or faxes from physicians or clients requesting report status and/or information, as needed by department
• Verifies all client information is current in the database and all client specific guidelines and or rules or information is documented in the system.
• Performs various clerical duties such as typing, filing, emailing, and proofreading as required.
