Document Custody - M1 Supervises staff responsible for document archiving services. As a resource to document custody support staff, ensures proper policies and practices are followed for verification and storage of client collateral and data. Implements control practices to minimize the information risks inherent in the records transport and storage process. Ensures that client requests are serviced quickly and thoroughly when documents are requested. Directs and oversees efforts to collect and store documents collected from internal and external clients across the business. May manage relationships with storage vendors and monitors vendor contract fulfillment. Coordinates with teams to properly identify and destroy all aged records due for destruction. Provides direction and management to resources charged with the day-to-day archiving operations, including setting goals, managing performance and setting the strategic direction of the team. Participates in the recruiting process. Instructs, assigns, directs and reviews the work of the team. Prepares performance reviews and provides ongoing feedback. Manages a team document custody support staff and performs managerial functions such as coaching, performance management and resource allocation. Participates in the interviewing process and keeps an eye out for potential hires. Develops and oversees the achievement of team objectives. Manages the financial and human resources for the team.
Qualifications
Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience required. Advanced degree preferred. 4-5 years of total work experience with at least 0-1 in management preferred.
