Job Summary
The Market Research Associate will work as a member of the Market Research team to provide actionable insight to key stakeholders as well as develop new products to meet evolving client needs. The Market Research Associate will be responsible for executing research projects to support firm strategy through the gathering, analysis, and reporting of internal and external data specific to defined projects. Additional responsibilities will include assistance with elements of project scoping, design, and delivery. Must have strong project management skills and be capable of working on multiple projects simultaneously. Must be capable of innovative thinking and committed to providing stakeholders with high-quality work to inform decision-making. Will utilize various secondary research resources and data gathering applications to meet client information needs. Reports to Market Research Assistant Director.
Skill sets required include:
Responsibilities:
• Provide market research project execution, including data gathering, analysis, and reporting
• Participate in market research project scoping, design, and delivery
• Ensure project deliverables adhere to team quality and format standards
• Serve as a point of contact for internal clients to provide insight on specific research findings
• Be a collaborative team member supporting Market Research, MDS, and Firmwide strategic goals
• Identify and track key trends impacting areas of research coverage
• Leverage research technology tools to augment information gathering and client deliverable production

• Strong project management, multi-tasking and prioritization skills

• Strong client service orientation, networking, and relationship-building skills
• Exceptional written and oral communication skills that support advanced analysis and reporting
• Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, and Excel
• Knowledgeable in quantitative and qualitative marketing fundamentals and can articulate data/research strategy and methodology
• Familiar with various market research methodologies and technology
• Excellent collaborator and works well in a team environment
• Demonstrates effective organizational and time management skills
• Adept at identifying resources for market research information and validating the accuracy of data
• Resilience under pressure and against deadlines
• Strong business acumen and commitment to results
• Self-starter who excels at multi-tasking with strong ability to prioritize to meet business needs
• Confidence and assertiveness; ability to build respect and credibility with colleagues and clients

Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor’s degree
• 1-2 years of experience in a market research position strongly preferred
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Ability to work well both independently and in a collaborative environment
• Exceptional client service orientation
