Description
We are looking for an Real Estate Investments Director to engage in all aspects of the loan origination process, including presentations to senior management, debt structuring, pricing strategy, transaction negotiation and closing, and due diligence review. The position allows the Director to interact with existing and prospective borrowers, intermediaries, industry peers, and the legal community. They will also gain exposure to key decision makers within PGIM REF.
The Ideal Candidate
We are seeking highly-motivated candidates for placement within our Loan Originations Team. Prior experience in commercial real estate and finance is strongly preferred. The PGIM REF team treats our talent like an investment. The successful candidate will play an important and integral role on the team.
What Will My Role at PGIM Look like?
As part of PGIM, the global investment management business of Prudential, PGIM Real Estate Finance is one of the nation’s largest full-service commercial, multi-family, and agricultural real estate lenders. Leveraging Prudential’s 140-year history in real estate finance, the company offers one of the most comprehensive lines of real estate finance products and originates loans for Fannie Mae DUS™, Freddie Mac Program Plus® and specialized affordable housing programs; FHA; Prudential’s general account; and other institutional investors.
The Director will join a fully-integrated mortgage origination team responsible for $500 million to a $1 billion of annual production. The successful candidate will be responsible for sourcing and originating commercial real estate debt investments for Prudential's wide variety of capital sources.
Qualifications
•Minimum of 5 years experience commercial real estate lending preferred
•MBA from a top program strongly preferred
•Concentration/major/focus in finance and/or real estate a plus
•Strong quantitative skills and demonstrated analytical ability
•Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail with ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
•Outstanding written and oral communication skills
•Ability to work both independently and as an integral member of a team
•Proficiency in MS Office applications, (Excel, Word and PowerPoint), strongly preferred
