Training Specialist
What does a great Training Specialist do?
The Card Services training team is looking for a motivated individual to join our team as a Training Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for the design, development and delivery of training on various company products and services on our debit platform for clients.
Essential Job Responsibilities:
• Instruct participants in both classroom and distance learning programs
• Work with Subject Matter Experts (SME) to ensure that course materials and training courses reflects current product features and organizational processes
• Contribute to the instructional design process to develop client education programs. Utilize proven techniques to research, design and develop learning materials for new and existing programs in a variety of contexts and subjects, using several software applications and tools
• Incorporate adult learning principles (learning needs/styles, etc.) in all material and activity development.
• Develop and maintain blended curriculum and supporting documentation for instructor-led courses
• Consult with internal clients to understand training requirements, design appropriate solutions and schedule and lead knowledge harvesting, design and review sessions.
• Must be familiar with the ADDIE model of instructional design
Required Qualifications for consideration:
• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Psychology, Training or Business
• Equivalent work experience may be substituted for degree
• 3+ years’ experience delivering client training
• 2+ years’ experience using instructional design methodology
• 2+ years’ experience writing procedures and/or documentation
• 3+ years’ experience with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
• Advanced organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple assignments
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Advanced organizational and time management skills
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred Qualifications for consideration:
• Knowledge of EFT industry - HIGHLY Preferred
• Experience in the financial industry or banking
Travel Required: up to 60%
