Duties: Define, configure, and maintain SAP financial modules including new General Ledger, SFin, Accounts Payable, Asset accounting, controlling, and other integrated components of Finance modules. Work with business partners to define financial requirements for the SAP application. Protect the functionality of the system by adhering to specific development lifecycles. Support the daily operations and team responsible for functional delivery and support relationships with Application Maintenance Services (AMS). Gather and analyze data and reports concerning the overall operation of the business unit. Review problem situations and develop solutions and implement actions to resolve those problems. Ensure functional satisfaction and review processes and procedures to streamline activities to enhance service turnaround time, productivity, and quality. Conduct functional research and innovation across integrated teams including business and technology resources. Provide design recommendations for integrated solutions, including development approach, solution integration, and platform utilization. Support the delivery of system change requests, including base business requests, break-fix, new enhancements, and new functionality. Translate business requirements into functional design to improve functionality and user experience. Recommend process improvements to enhance system and processes on a continual basis. Liaise with other team members to optimize, integrate, and standardize processes to maximize system capabilities.
Requirements: Master's degree (or higher) in Commerce, Information Systems, Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or related field (willing to accept foreign education equivalent) plus five years' experience performing SAP configuration and integration to meet accounting standards or, alternatively, a 3 or 4 year Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Information Systems, Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or related field (willing to accept foreign education equivalent) and seven years' experience as noted above. Must possess one (1) year of the following experience: Performing solution design; building and configuring various sub tracks and organization structures in FICO modules of SAP. Analyzing SAP systems from business process owners (controller team) and performing cross functional and integration SAP analysis. Performing solution design and configuration of key period end close related activities, including foreign currency revaluation and translation. Working in conjunction with the consolidations module to ensure the business process in ECC supports the consolidation requirements for the company as a whole. Serving as a Team Lead in large scale SAP implementation and support projects. And Integrating SAP financial systems with external tax engines and HR systems. And, integrating asset accounts with Internal Orders.
