Description
As an Assurant Digital Conversion Rate Optimization Manager (CRO), you’ll need to be creative and innovative when applying processes, while maintaining a positive approach and demeanor. You will be responsible for all phases of web and mobile user-centered optimization, including the ability to make strategic and tactical recommendations to customers and project teams based on business requirements, usability findings and standard UI design practices. The CRO Manager should possesses the ability to rapidly prototype UI concepts, serve as a usability advocate, and promote a user-focused mindset across the Assurant Solutions teams.
Primary Responsibilities:
• Work with Director and VP, Digital Performance and collaborate with cross functional teams (creative, content, technology)
• Think holistically about the entire brand and consumer experience
• Enhances information architecture team accomplishments and competence by planning delivery of optimization solutions
• Creates – and occasionally directs the creation of – journey maps, navigation flows, site maps, user stories, wireframes, concept diagrams and personas
• Conduct market research and analysis on competitive and best in class digital and physical products / experiences and key industry trends
• Write use cases outlining for internal marketing purposes
• Collaborate closely with all members of the team
• Provide weekly executive summary of CRO work stream
• Own documentation and tracking of all CRO action items and workflow
• Continually improve UX/CRO process in collaboration with the business
• Leverages metrics, optimization, qualitative and quantitative research to inform and validate design decisions
• Create conversion optimization strategies including managing external UX agencies
• Have full ownership and accountability for successful execution of key client projects
• Conduct internal planning meetings and lead the development of A/B & multivariate testing road maps that will lift conversion rates
• Analyse results and identify successes, failures, and trends, and effectively communicate these findings to clients
• Participate in or lead client progress meetings during which you will report results, make recommendations, and assist clients in understanding the chosen strategies and what available information was used to aid in strategic decisions
• Troubleshoot and spot existing issues with optimization test set-ups and present results internally or externally through the production of high quality documentation
• Evangelize internal clients on Conversion Optimization
• Identify and suggest ways to improve efficiencies
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
• BA or BS in Design, User Experience, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field
• 5+ years of similar position, managing UX (web and mobile)
• Have strong experience in eCommerce markets with a B2B and D2C focus
• Highly successful problem solver that is organized, detailed and extremely collaborative
• Passionate, positive and capable of making incredibly complex things simple
• Strong communication, presentation, and creative challenge-solving skills
• Self-starter, expert generalist, design thinker, tinkerer
• Have an eye for great design and good background knowledge of UX design principles and practices.
• Knowledge & experience in lean/agile product development, mobile platforms, and US market trends.
• Strong skills of strategic creative thinking, user-centered design process/principles, verbal and written communication, and teamwork.
• Experience dealing effectively with non-creative decision makers.
• Ability to anticipate and design for user needs by incorporating research, strategy and analytics.
• Ability to work independently, while escalating issues as necessary.
• Solid understanding of web and mobile (native) technologies.
• Strong analytical skills, excellent working knowledge of Google Analytics and SEO
• Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills
• Ability to take direction, adhere to guidelines, and work well within a team environment.
• Highly organized and self-motivated with the ability to independently manage multiple projects and initiatives.
• Ability to work well in a fast paced, ever changing environment
• Working experience with prototyping tools such as OmniGraffle, Axure, etc.
• 5+ years experience in javascript, html and css with an excellent understanding of front to back end processing, API service experience, testing and debugging.
• Experience of testing tools eg. Optimizely

• This position will be based out of our Atlanta office located @ 260 Interstate North Circle SE Atlanta, GA 30339
• This team allows a 1 day/week of working from home option after a ramp up period (subject to performance)
• This team allows casual dress (i.e. jeans) when you’re in the office!
