The Team
Your role is a member of the Marketing/Sales Operations Team. This team’s mission is to ensure marketing and fundraising teams are on track and optimized to achieving organizational goals. We accomplish this through proactively providing team strategy, guidance and support. For marketing, we ensure objectives and resulting campaigns are supported and managed for timely completion by doing analysis to find evidence-based insights to help marketing maximize ROI. For sales (aka fundraising), this means ensuring strategic initiatives are moving ahead and that day-to-day operations are as efficient as possible to maximize ROI. Also, this team manages the marketing technology stack collaborating with marketing, technology, sales and service partners.

The Expertise You Have
• Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, data science or technology
• 1-3 years of marketing experience or equivalent relevant experience (advertising, business analyst)
• Project management and/or marketing/media measurement experience
• Experience with marketing technology tools (i.e. E-mail marketing, Marketing Automation, CRM, Web Analytics)

• You have advanced skills with Excel and Powerpoint (other MarTech tools are a plus)
The Value You Deliver
• Project Management - Coordinating the planning, logistics of marketing operations, including tracking and coordination of campaign deliverables across teams leveraging our project management tool. This role will also assist with project management support for annual fundraising (sales) strategic initiatives, including tracking of owners, deliverables, timing and coordination across functions.
• Marketing Operations Support – Help in managing the behind the scenes work of the team through such tasks as budget management of the marketing technology stack. Provide support to the marketing email and automation team. Set up team calendars to show transparency of work in motion.
• Reporting - Lead reporting initiatives in collaboration with the analytics team, create monthly marketing and fundraising scorecards and performance reports. Set up automated dashboards/reports where relevant, driving team utilization and understanding for insights to inform actionable next steps.
• Marketing Insights - Collect, maintain, interpret and analyze data to ensure institutional learning and application to optimize marketing results and spend. Assist marketing team with the "why" results occurred and what to do differently. A key focus area is making sure that all projects have clear success metrics and then working with project owners to measure throughout the project process.
• Data management – Ensure data collection is accurate, consistent and optimally stored/fed between systems to create reliable, relevant reporting and effective operations.
