Basic Purpose:
Provides support to the diversity and inclusion function.
Primary Responsibilities:
• Prepares PowerPoint presentations and assists Chief Diversity Officer in designing presentations for external speaking engagements.
• Tracks, prioritizes and assists in delivering multiple concurrent projects to success.
• Drafts diversity meeting agendas and post-meeting follow-up correspondence.
• Updates internal diversity intranet webpage on a consistent basis. Partners with EV ERGs, Marketing and IT to manage and develop webpage.
• Works with Marketing as a liaison for diversity branding efforts through social media sites.
• Serves as additional contact for external diversity associations and sponsorships.
• Coordinates external vendor relationships and agreements in partnership with procurement.
• Provides input to EV talent acquisition on diversity recruiting initiatives, supports relationships with minority candidate sourcing organizations, refers diverse student/campus programs and participates in various diversity recruiting activities upon request.
• Assists with other diversity Learning and Development related projects.
• Represents EV and diversity team by attending either internal or external events.
Job Requirements:
• BS/BA degree required.
• 2-4 years of HR or diversity experience.
• Must have strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritize time sensitive responsibilities.
• Basic understanding of concepts related to diversity and cultural competency.
• Outstanding organizational skills and ability to juggle multiple tasks in a fast paced environment.
• Collaborative with an orientation towards relationship building within organization and vendors.
• Must have exceptional communication skills (verbal, facilitation, written and presentation) exhibited at all levels with the organization.
• Proficient in MS Office applications; including PowerPoint, Excel and MSWord.
• Ability to communicate with wide array of audiences (ranging from entry level to senior executives).
• Basic project management, analytical and research capabilities preferred.
