Job Description
The Cash Management Sales Officer is responsible for identifying, analyzing, selling and supporting cash management products and services to established business customers and prospective corporate clients. Primary customer focal point for Cash Management only deals. Work independently or closely with Relationship Officers, Branches, Lenders and Business Bankers in attaining revenue and deposit growth; solidify customer retention efforts by providing a superior level of customer service. Respond to customer Request for Proposal (RFP); assess customer needs and recommends effective strategies; performs a cost benefit and risk analysis; negotiates pricing to optimize profitability of product or service solutions. Contributes to the Bank's deposit growth strategies and goals; generates additional revenue from the sale of cash management products and services; attains established individual, department and Bank goals through active participation in sales management and officer call programs. Responsible to provide customer and bank presentations for up to 50 individuals.
• Working with Relationship Manager (Business Bankers, Lenders, and Branch Managers) to understand and evaluate clients' business needs and their critical issues by employing a consultative sales approach to determine their requirements and proposing integrated cash management and banking solutions.
• Create pricing, respond to customer Request for Proposal and make sale presentations to Cash Management customers and bank personal
• Provide product and service implementation support for business customers including additional needs analysis to cross sell services
• Ensure all appropriate agreements and contracts are negotiated with legal and properly executed for Cash Management services.
• Support and lead new Cash Management initiatives and new product implementations. Represent the bank at client events and industry trade conferences.
Requirements
• Minimum of 10 years experience working directly in Cash Management Sales and/or Product Management or 5 years experience with Bachelors or Master Degree in Business Administration or like discipline
• Solid knowledge of Cash Management products, regulatory requirements and policies and procedures
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, organizational and product management skills
• Ability to work effectively with other team members across the Bank at all levels
• Proficient knowledge of MS Office, including Word, Excel and Powerpoint
• Proven ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers and work collaboratively with interdepartmental teams to achieve desired results.
• Strong leadership including the ability to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Ability to sell.
• Supervises external and vendor relationships.
